Yay!

Got my first knitting commission yesterday! A former coworker asked me if I could make a sweater, blanket, hat and bootie set for another former coworker. I need to figure out how much everything is and then quote a price to my former coworker. I don't think that it should take me any more than 2-3 months, maybe less. Baby stuff is so quick and easy to make. Luckily for me, I already have a sweater, blanket and bootie patter. I don't have a hat pattern, but I don't think that it would be that hard to find.

I am very excited! I have time tomorrow and Wednesday, so I may try to run to Michaels then to get the supplies.

Afghan completed!

The afghan is finally done! It is big enough to fit on a queen size bed (I measured it on my own and that's how I decided not to add any more panels). I could have probably made it a little longer, but I guess that is what experimentation is for. You adapt each time you make something.

This really remains my favorite afghan pattern to make.
